Privacy & Account Management
How do I report inappropriate content?
If you encounter photos or content that violates our policies:
- In-App: Open the photo → Tap the "..." menu (three dots) → Select "Report Content"
- Email: Send to info@wrapitup.be with subject "Report Abuse"
- Include the Photo ID (if visible), description, and date/time
Response time: We investigate all reports within 48 hours and take action within 72 hours.
How do I delete my account?
- Open Wrap It Up app
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Data
- Tap "Delete My Account"
- Confirm deletion (requires double confirmation)
- You'll receive a confirmation email
⚠️ Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your cloud photos will be permanently deleted within 24 hours. If you recreate an account with the same email, you will NOT receive the initial 10 free signup credits (fraud prevention policy).
How do I export my data?
Account Data Export:
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Data
- Tap "Download My Data"
- You'll receive a complete JSON export via email within minutes
Photo Export:
- Individual photos: Open Gallery → Tap photo → Download button
- Bulk download: Email info@wrapitup.be for assistance with downloading all photos
This is your GDPR right to data portability (Article 20).
Why do I need to be 17 years or older?
Wrap It Up requires users to be 17+ due to:
- COPPA (US Law): Protects children under 13 from data collection
- GDPR Article 8 (EU Law): Children under 16 need parental consent for data processing
- Apple App Store: Apps with AI and user-generated content require age 17+ rating
- AI Safety: AI-generated content can be unpredictable and inappropriate for minors
This protects minors and ensures legal compliance in all regions where we operate.
What are my GDPR rights?
As an EU resident, you have the following rights under GDPR:
- Right to Access: View your data in Settings → Account
- Right to Portability: Export your data via Settings → Privacy & Data → Download My Data
- Right to Erasure: Delete your account via Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete My Account
- Right to Rectification: Update your profile in Settings

Common Technical Issues
App crashes or won't open
- Restart your iPhone
- Update to the latest iOS version
- Update the app from the App Store
- Delete and reinstall the app (your modes will be reset)
AI enhancement not working
- Check your internet connection (WiFi or cellular data)
- Verify you haven't exceeded your monthly image quota
- Try again in a few minutes (temporary server issues)
- Check if the app needs an update
Camera not working
- Go to Settings → Wrap It Up → Camera → Enable
- Restart the app
- Check if another app is using the camera
- Restart your iPhone
Can't save photos to gallery
- Go to Settings → Wrap It Up → Photos → Enable "Add Photos Only" or "All Photos"
- Check if you have enough storage space
- Restart the app
Subscription not working
- Check your subscription status in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
- Verify payment method is valid
- Log out and log back into the App Store
- Contact Apple Support for billing issues
- Email us at info@wrapitup.be if the issue persists
What happens if I take photos while offline?
Don't worry! Wrap It Up has an offline queue system:
- When offline: Photos are saved locally and queued for enhancement
- You'll see: An offline banner on the camera screen
- In Gallery: Queued photos show with a "cloud upload" icon and status
- Auto-sync: When you reconnect to the internet, queued photos automatically upload and enhance
- Manual sync: Tap "Sync All" button in Gallery to process queue immediately
- Credits: Credits are only consumed when photos actually upload (not when queued)
Tip: You can close the app and reopen it later. Queued photos will be there waiting to sync!
